I have yet to meet any network marketer that had too many leads.The mother's milk of politics is money.If that is so then the mother's milk of network marketing is leads.Even if the plan is bad,even if the compensation plan is bad,if you have plenty of
leads you will be successful

As a network marketer, Leads are an essential part of building a successful business. Buying leads is one way to fuel your business, but that can take a lot out of a business budget if you don't know how to close to them. I am going to show you a simple and effective system called Attraction Marketing used by many network marketers to generate leads without breaking the bank. Attraction marketing is the wave of the future.

Unlike many of the other proponents of Attraction Marketing,I don't denounce the other marketing systems.If it is done legally and ethically,leads should be generated by any means necessary.Old school and new school.

There are many other old school methods,and I have No problem with either,as long as it works for you.We should not deny the fact that the old school methods still work,however Attraction Marketing is the new guy on the block.Attraction Marketing unlike the OLD school methods,can be done by nearly everyone.Old school methods can only done successfully by certain people with certain skill sets.The only impediment to Attraction Marketing is training.Since we live in the era of web 2.0,we don't have to have an extensive knowledge of the computer and the web.With just a little training,new school is just a snap.

What Is MLM

It does not matter if you call it Multi-Level marketing or Network marketing. Most people think they know but in the final analysis they have no idea what Network Marketing is,

Just to be on the safe side let's discuss what Network Marketing is not:

Multilevel marketing is not supposed to be...

* a pyramid scheme
* nothing but scams
* just recruiting folks into your deal and then making money off of them
* a business opportunity that just causes you to lose money

Now let's talk about what multilevelmarketing is supposed to be about...

Multi-level marketing is supposed to be...

* Leveraging time and effort
* about retailing products or services
* helping others to have the same success you do
* many people helping each other
* a program that allows you to earn residual income
* easy but involves a lot of work

Real Network marketing has nothing to do with scamming folks into your program just to make money off of their efforts while you sit back and watch. That's not how multi-level marketing was designed to function way back about 65 years ago.

You see, M.L.M. stands for 'multi-level marketing'. Multi - which means 'many'. Level which means, in this case 'layers'. Marketing which means 'selling'... something.
In other words, multilevelmarketing can be viewed as something that involves 'many layers of selling' occurring.
If your compensation plan doesn't promote the retailing of products or services at a reasonable price and at a reasonable profit,I would be careful about doing business with such a company.

MLM is, Essentially, Many People Involving Many OTHER People in the Exchanging of a 'Good' or 'Service'. Period.

If a program misses too many of these aspects - watch out. You may find yourself in more than just a multilevel program. You may get yourself into hot water with the law, or your spouse, or life partner. Especially when the money's going out and the checks aren't coming back in.

So now that you have determined that Network Marketing is the business model for you. Learn all you can ABOUT MLM compensation plans. THEN pick the plan that helps you EARN.

I know, I know... MLM comp plans are not always easy to understand.

MLM compensation plans are confusing,but they constitute the bread and butter of your MLM business - Understanding it is of paramount importance..

So setting the right foundation, by selecting the right compensation plan is absolutely critical at the outset of your MLM career.

And of course, the selection process of the compensation plan that fits for you is going to be determined by other factors that you will have no control over.

There is no such thing as a perfect compensation plan.Just like in a marriage,you must be willing to over look things that you don't like in order to enjoy the things that you do.So it is of the utmost importance to educate your self on comp plans so that you understand what to over look and what to accept.

You may think that you have found the perfect compensation plan yet find it stuck to a company that you want nothing to do with. Or you may find an absolutely stunning comp plan and have to hock products that are less than appealing to you.

Or you may find the reverse in that the company and the products are what you want to get attached to yet the compensation plan sucks big time.

So what is one to do about all this?

Well, you can get yourself as educated about MLM compensation plans as is possible. And why do this?
Because you need to know what you're looking at. You need to recognize a good compensation plan when you see it.

You see, you may have heard that there is such a thing as a bad compensation plan.

And why do I say this? Because...

ALL MLM Compensation Plans and Their Varying Types Have Worked at One Time or Another for Someone Somewhere

They may not have been the best MLM compensation plan but they worked nonetheless.

* some compensation plans work for more people than others

* some compensation plans pay out higher percentages than others

* some compensation plans require less volume than others

* some compensation plans pay very few a lot at the expense of very many

* some compensation plans even require frontloading, which is illegal in the U.S.

* some compensation plans are so trendy that they poop themselves out over time

* and some compensation plans are destined for the MLM hall of shame before they even get going well

But regardless of this, they all still make some people money some of the time.

So, where does this leave you?

Binary- This is also known as the “leg” system. Basically, those under you who generate sales counts towards your compensation.This plan require you to build two legs,however you are paid on only 1 leg,the weakest leg.Some companies make the effort worth it,most do not.

Unilevel- Unilevel is probably one of the easiest to understand compensation plans. With a set number of levels that have unlimited width it is a great plan for those less knowledgeable in the world of multi level marketing.

Matrix- There are various forms of the matrix compensation plan. Some like this system and some simply don’t want to have anything to do with it. The advantage lies in the spill over effect since only a certain number can be on the top levels, people can easily have compensation from those who they had no part in bringing to the company. The matrix can actually be a great compensation plan if you are familiar with how it works and what form you are working with in your particular MLM opportunity.
Don't rely on the spillover it seldom happens.

Stairstep- Last but certainly not least in any way, this compensation plan is the most common in the MLM industry. This compensation plan accounts for most of the bigger profits in MLM companies. This form which is a breakaway form is pretty basic. When you reach the level that gives you the opportunity to break away and become at the top of your own stair steps, you may bring those who are on the steps below you with you. In some cases the person you break away from can keep someone from your chain as compensation for you breaking away.

It does not matter which compensation plan you work with it , there are pros and cons to all of them. You can make any of them work for you with a little knowledge and the willingness to work towards your goals.

All of the above is good to know,but inorder to insure a good understanding of compensation plans,here is a short-cut that will put you in the ball park of accuracy and you might even understand the compensation plan better than the person explaining it to you.

What is the average volume for each associate on your team?Convert that into commission dollars.You must then determine your income goal for one month.Let's say that figure is $1000.00 and your commission from each associate is $10.00, you will then need 100 associates.

Don't listen to any super star recruiter,trying to tell you how to make $10,000 a month until he shows you how to make $100 to $1,000 a month.Any one can hype some numbers and reach any income level that you desire.

Don't listen to anyone telling you that they don't know what average volume is.Belive me the company knows,and it usually coresponds with the volume required to satisfy monthly personal volume.So lets recap.

When your Super Star recruiter tells you that you can make $10,000 next month,your next question should be how many associates do I need,and then have him/her illustrate that on paper.
